Project timeline:
An archival selection of music and videos from my past projects.
I released my first batch of solo recordings under the pseudonym Parachutes & Parades around 2011. The name was a play on wartime, peacetime and the extremities of the human experience. I later reused that moniker when I publised my first experimental solo EP in 2019.
2026
I continue to write, produce, and occasionally release music that can be listened to near the top of this page. I like to experiment with different styles (like this 80s synth-pop song, complete with corny music video, for example).
I'm working on an indie-pop album and am looking forward to whatever opportunies life brings.
2023
My former band, Halloween Animals, decided to part ways. Having been a member from age of 15 to 30, I have many cherished memories of growing up together and chasing a shared creative vision.
In our thirteenth year together, and with the addition of two non-founding members, my former band changed its name to, Halloween Animals. The name was borrowed from a song I wrote about my schoolmates and I playing pretend as our favourite animals during recess.
2020
My love of music followed me wherever I went.
I moved away from my hometown of Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario, and gradually continued to publish solo recordings, but now under my own name.
I released a second EP which was the first time I mixed my own music and the last time I used my high school music pseudonym, Parachutes & Parades.
2019
Still early in my study of music mixing, I produced a few live acoustic cover collaboration videos for my former band.
2017
As a side project, I had a ton of fun writing and recording a few commercial pop songs with a few friends of mine.
2016
Safe As Houses played at a number of music festivals and toured Ontario, making many friends along the way.

2010
In our fourth year together, my first band continued to write, record and gig under the name Safe As Houses.
2011
I did things a bit backwards–starting as a bass player and then bridging into guitar via ukulele.
As a teenager I became interested in a broader range of musical genres, with my most-listened to bands being, The Bad Plus, Weather Report, and Radiohead at the time.
In high school I began teaching myself piano and guitar and started writing my own music. I composed a few scores for some indie filmmaker friends.
I met my first bandmates and played covers at some fun and unusual gigs such as this Southeast Asian New Year's party.
2009
In middle-school I became interested in contemporary music and switched to electric bass guitar in hopes of joining a band.
